Trouble Reading Your Bible?
We’ll Help You!
The Bible is a HUGE book! And not all of it is easy reading. You may be struggling to get through it.
If you are, you’re not alone. It seems like every January the pastor says, “I encourage you to read the Bible this year,” but after a few words about why you should read it, you’re on your own. You and everybody else in the congregation.
Where do you start? How do you go about it? How do you wade through the difficult names? What about the boring parts?
I’m Ellen, and my life mission is to help people read the Bible. I’m passionate about that! I’ll show you how to get started, and then I’ll walk you through the entire Bible.
This website is designed to offer as much help as possible. There are Bible reading tips, Bible schedules, information about the Bible, and much more to come. Just browse through the web pages and see what you can find. More content will be added all the time.
When you are ready to start reading the Bible, you can get a good start by ordering my book on Bible reading. I named it The Bible Reading Revolution because, well, I’d like to start a Bible reading revolution.
The book is subtitled, “An Easy Guide to Bible Reading,” and it’s pretty easy reading. I wrote it so that anybody from about 7th grade up could get help reading the Bible. Read some comments below.
Also, take a look at the About our Programs post, and then go to the Join the Revolution tab to sign up.

Too Many Herods in the Bible!

Where was the Cave of Machpelah?
Where was the Cave of Machpelah? One of my favorite stories in Genesis is the story about how Abraham negotiated with the sons of Heth for a burial place for his wife, Sarah. Everybody is so diplomatic and respectful! You can read about it in chapter 23 of Genesis....
What is the Bible About?
What is the Bible About? It’s a bit challenging to tell what the Bible is about in a 700-word blog since the Bible itself has 783,137 words in the King James Version. But I’ll try. God’s interaction with mankind Let’s focus on God’s interaction with mankind. The Bible...
