Welcome to the

Bible Reading Revolution!

Trouble Reading Your Bible?

We’ll Help You!

The Bible is a HUGE book!  And not all of it is easy reading.  You may be struggling to get through it.

If you are, you’re not alone.  It seems like every January the pastor says, “I encourage you to read the Bible this year,” but after a few words about why you should read it, you’re on your own.  You and everybody else in the congregation.

Where do you start?  How do you go about it?  How do you wade through the difficult names?  What about the boring parts?

I’m Ellen, and my life mission is to help people read the Bible.  I’m passionate about that!  I’ll show you how to get started, and then I’ll walk you through the entire Bible.

This website is designed to offer as much help as possible.  There are Bible reading tips, Bible schedules, information about the Bible, and much more to come.  Just browse through the web pages and see what you can find.  More content will be added all the time.

When you are ready to start reading the Bible, you can get a good start by ordering my book on Bible reading. I named it The Bible Reading Revolution because, well, I’d like to start a Bible reading revolution.

The book is subtitled, “An Easy Guide to Bible Reading,” and it’s pretty easy reading.  I wrote it so that anybody from about 7th grade up could get help reading the Bible. Read some comments below.

Also, take a look at the About our Programs post, and then go to the Join the Revolution tab to sign up.

Readers’ Comments

Reading Ellen’s book made me excited  to read parts of the Bible I struggled with previously.  It gave me a new perspective.  I like how the book encourages readers to ‘read the entire Bible.’

I appreciate how helpful the book should be for new Christians in particular.  The book is easy to read, and the willingness of Ellen to share her own experiences and feelings adds to the quality of the book.  I already have in mind several persons I know who would greatly benefit from its instruction.

It’s so easy to read, and I appreciate the touches of humor here and there.

This is the best Bible reading book ever!  When you are searching for ways to read the Bible, Ellen has a unique way of explaining how to go about it.

I’ve been a dedicated Bible Reader for many years, but I’ve always rushed through the boring parts as if they weren’t important.  Ellen has taught me to read the entire Bible, every word, which I wasn’t doing earlier.

If I had just one word to describe The Bible Reading Revolution it would be refreshing. Nothing stuffy about this book!

Ellen, I am loving your humbleness of heart and all the times you refer to the importance of individual personality in reading.  There is no condemnation from you, only conviction and encouragement from our God.  It’s great!

Can I order ten more copies?

What is the Bible About?

What is the Bible About? It’s a bit challenging to tell what the Bible is about in a 700-word blog since the Bible itself has 783,137 words in the King James Version. But I’ll try. God’s interaction with mankind Let’s focus on God’s interaction with mankind. The Bible...

How to Read a Bible Genealogy

How to Read a Bible GenealogyBible Genealogies are the dullest of all Bible reading. On the first day of teaching my first class in Bible reading, somebody asked me, “Do we have to read the genealogies?” “Yes,” I assured him. “We are reading the Bible, every word.” It...
